THERMOPLASTIC BACKING - This backing is suggested if the emblems are to be handed out loosely, such as for souvenirs. It is designed as a reinforcement to hold threads and background material together firmly. This is not a heat seal backing. This backing is routinely used emblems for uniforms that will be commercially laundered, such as law enforcement, fire department or municipal emblems.
PRESSURE SENSITIVE - This is a temporary backing that allows the emblem to be applied and later removed from almost any surface. Pressure sensitive backing is generally recommended for appliques only. THIS IS NOT A PERMANENT BACKING.
VELCRO® - This backing can be applied with either the hook or loop sides or both sides of the Velcro® up to a 4" emblem.
